vorfreude mal zwei

gleich zwei alben von meinerseits hoch geschätzten künstlern wurden in den letzten 24 stunden angekündigt, was die woche wenn schon nicht rettet, so doch zumindest aufhellt.

zuerst war da ganz unspektakulär die nachricht auf resident advisor, dass im april endlich die neue von homemade weapons herauskommt. der grossmeister der nachtschwarzen amentricksereien hat sich zweieinhalb jahre zeit gelassen, mit gravity einen nachfolger für das grossartige negative space-album vorzustellen, und der voraus-track lässt den märz schon ziemlich lang aussehen.


und heute gleich wieder grund zur freude: max d releast sein viertes album many any am 14. märz auf dem washingtoner 1432r-label. auch hier gibts schon was zu hören, das lust auf mehr macht: fly around the room sind jazzig-verstimmte broken beats im hiphop-tempo, die entspannt vor sich hin grooven.

wieder mal ein unglaublich deeper und darker mix, diesmal von the untouchables und red army, die sich die knapp stündige laufzeit brüderlich teilen und damit die neue subcept ep von homemade weapons promoten, die am 24. august herauskommt und auf der sie als prominente gäste vertreten sind.
